Japan Domestic Corporate Goods Prices Dip 0.5% In September

Producer prices in Japan were down 0.5 percent on month in September, the Bank of Japan said on Wednesday - missing forecasts for a decline of 0.4 percent following the 0.6 percent contraction in August.

On a yearly basis, prices fell 3.9 percent - in line with expectations after slipping 3.6 percent in the previous month.

Export prices fell 0.9 percent on month and 6.6 percent on year, the bank said, while import prices plummeted 2.3 percent on month and 21.0 percent on year.
