Britvic H1 Profit Rises; Backs FY16 EBITA Outlook - Quick Facts

Soft drinks maker Britvic Plc (BVIC.L) reported Thursday that its first-half profit before tax increased 7 percent to 54.5 million pounds from 51.0 million pounds last year.

Adjusted earnings per share were 17.3 pence, compared to 16.4 pence last year.

First-half revenues increased 4.3 percent to 678 million pounds from 650.3 million pounds last year. Revenues grew 5.1 percent on a constant currency basis.

Organic revenue, excluding Brazil, declined 1.8 percent.

Further, the company said its board declared an interim dividend of 7.0p, 4.5 percent growth on last year.

Looking ahead, the company said its full-year EBITA guidance remains unchanged at 180 million pounds to 190 million pounds.
