Slovakia's economic growth momentum improved in the second quarter from the previous three months, figures from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic showed Friday.
Gross domestic product grew non-seasonally adjusted 3.7 percent year-on-year following 3.4 percent increase in the first quarter.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, GDP rose 3.7 percent, same as in the previous quarter.
Compared to the previous quarter, GDP increased 0.9 percent in the three months to June after a 0.8 percent expansion in the first quarter.
Employment grew 2.3 percent annually in the second quarter.
