Business confidence in New Zealand picked up steam in December, the latest survey from NBNZ showed on Monday with an index score of 21.7.
That's up from 20.5 in the November reading.
The survey also showed that the activity outlook jumped to a score of 39.6 percent positive, up from 37.6 percent in the previous month.
