Accor Q3 Revenues Up 7.2%

French hotel group Accor (ACRFY.PK,ACRFF.PK) Thursday said third-quarter revenues of 504 million euros, up 7.2% from 470 million euros last year.

On a like-for-like basis, Accor revenues rose 6.4%.

Revenue derived from the hotel assets held by the Group, mainly in Central Europe and Brazil, grew by a substantial 7.2%.

The company noted that changes in the scope of consolidation (acquisitions and disposals) made a positive contribution of 18.7 million euros, thanks in particular to the contributions of new business.

Amazon plans to more than double its corporate workforce in Las Vegas by creating 125 additional jobs in the city. The company said the incorrect wiring of the microwave oven causes its exterior to reach temperatures exceeding 183 degrees fahrenheit that could result in a burn hazard to the user.
