Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) Pulled Back After Q1 Revenues Disappoint

Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) reported first quarter EPS of $0.65 after the bell Thursday, up from $0.52 a year ago. Analysts expected EPS of $0.57. Revenues rose to $6.07 billion from $5.73 billion last year. Street expectations were for revenues of $6.18 billion.

Starbucks gapped open sharply lower Friday, but traded in a range for the bulk of the session. The stock closed down by 2.56 at $57.99 with volume at a 6-month high. Starbucks dropped to a 3-week low.
