ManpowerGroup Q4 Profit Climbs

ManpowerGroup (MAN) released earnings for its fourth quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $216.3 million, or $3.22 per share. This was up from $127.4 million, or $1.87 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $2.06 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 13.7% to $5.64 billion. This was up from $4.96 billion last year.
