Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Q4 Earnings Rise

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers (RRGB) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $10.15 million, or $0.78 per share. This was up from $4.52 million, or $0.35 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.54 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 17.5% to $342.35 million. This was up from $291.46 million last year.
