American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) Pulled Back From The Highs After Q4 Report

American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.44 Thursday morning, compared to $0.39 in the prior year. The result was in line with analysts' expectations. First quarter EPS is expected to be between $0.20 and $0.22. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.19.

American Eagle Outfitters dropped sharply in early trade Thursday, but settled into a range for the majority of the day. Shares of the retailer finished down by 1.94 at $18.63 with volume at over a 6-month high. The stock pulled back from the highs of the year and set a 2-week low.
