Slovakia Trade Surplus Grows In March

Slovakia's foreign trade surplus increased in March from a year ago, as imports fell faster than exports, data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic showed Wednesday.

The trade surplus rose to EUR 515.0 million in March from EUR 236.3 million in the corresponding month last year. In February, the surplus was EUR 201.7 million.

Both exports and imports declined by 1.3 percent and 5.5 percent, respectively in March from last year.
