Earnings In Focus: June 6 (THO, SIG)

Thor Industries Inc. (THO) is set to release its third-quarter results after the bell today. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect earnings of $2.58 per share on revenue of $2.24 billion for the quarter.

The company said overall health of the RV industry remains strong and is supported by solid growth of retail shipments, with its dealer inventories at appropriate levels for seasonal consumer demand. The third-quarter results are likely to benefit from the increasing demand driven by favorable economic conditions and demographic trends.

* Net income - $111.3 mln
* EPS - $2.11.


Signet Jewelers Ltd. (SIG) intends to announce its first-quarter results at about 7:00 a.m. ET today. Wall Street analysts are estimating a loss of $0.09 per share and revenue of $1.4 billion for the quarter.

Year-Ago Numbers:

* Total sales - $1.40 bln
* Net income - $70.3 mln
* EPS - $1.03.

During the fourth-quarter results, Signet announced a three-year comprehensive transformation plan to reposition the company to be a share gaining, OmniChannel jewelry category leader. The three-year plan includes cost efficiencies, a portion of which will be reinvested in growth initiatives including 1) eCommerce growth; 2) OmniChannel capabilities; and 3) innovation in product assortment and the store experience.

This transformation plan is likely to drive long-term sustainable, profitable sales growth and create value for shareholders.

FY19 Guidance:

* Sees FY19 same store sales down low-to-mid single digits
* Projects FY19 total sales of $5.9 bln - $6.1 bln; Consensus - $6.03 bln.
* Expects FY19 GAAP EPS of $0.00 - $0.60
* Expects FY19 non-GAAP EPS of $3.75 - $4.25; Consensus - $3.96/Shr.

Also, the company expects to see improved operational and financial performance beginning in Fiscal 2020.
