RH Holding On To Substantial Gain In Late-Day Trading

After gapping open sharply higher, shares of RH (RH) continue to see substantial strength in late-day trading on Tuesday. RH is currently up by 32.3 percent after reaching a record intraday high.

The rally by RH comes after the home furnishings company reported better than expected fiscal first quarter earnings and provided upbeat guidance for the current quarter.

Walmart Inc. (WMT) reported adjusted EPS of $1.41 for the fourth-quarter of fiscal 2019. On average, 27 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $1.33 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items. In London, HSBC shares were losing around 4 percent in the morning trading.
