Robert "Todd" Harrell, the original bass player for the band 3 Doors Down, was arrested at his home in St. Martin, Mississippi on Friday.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance at the home, where Harrell's wife Jennifer Fields informed them that they had been involved in a verbal argument that had turned physical.

While inside the home, the officers noticed drugs and guns lying in plain sight and then obtained a search warrant. Harrell was arrested on charges of domestic violence simple assault, along with marijuana possession and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.

He is also wanted for a probation violation in Tennessee.

Harrell previously served two years in prison for causing the death of another driver in Nashville, while he was driving under the influence.
