McCormick & Co. (MKC) Spiked To A New High On Strong Q2 Earnings

McCormick & Co. (MKC) reported second quarter EPS of $1.02 Thursday morning, up from $0.82 a year ago. Street expectations were for EPS of $0.93.

McCormick & Co. gapped up at the open Thursday and spiked higher in early trade, before settling into a range. Shares finished with a gain of 8.90 at $114.83 with volume at nearly an 11-month high. The stock jumped to a new high for the year.
