Netflix Inc. (NFLX) Is Losing Ground As Subscriber Growth Disappoints

Netflix Inc. (NFLX) reported second quarter EPS of $0.85 after the bell Monday, compared to $0.15 in the prior year. Analysts expected EPS of $0.79.

The company added 670,000 subscribers in the U.S. and added 4.47 million subscribers internationally during the quarter, both of which fell short of expectations. The stock is now down 51.17 on 2.4 million shares.

Netflix traded in a range throughout Monday's session and closed up by 4.68 at $400.48.
