Nationstar Mortgage Reports Q2 Adj. Earnings Of $0.53 Per Share - Quick Facts

Nationstar Mortgage Holdings Inc. (NSM), which principally operates under the Mr. Cooper and Xome brands, reported second-quarter net income of $58 million or $0.59 per share.

On an adjusted basis, the company reported earnings for the quarter of $52 million or $0.53 per share.

Revenues for the latest quarter were $444 million.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to earn $0.55 per share for the quarter on revenues of $449.3 million. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The Xome segment earned pretax income of $10 million or adjusted pretax income of $13 million.

The Originations segment earned pretax income of $32 million or adjusted pretax income of $33 million , an increase of 32 percent from the prior quarter primarily attributable to higher volume and reduced expenses.

The Servicing segment earned pretax income of $88 million or adjusted pretax income of $72 million.
