EPR Properties Increases 2018 Earnings Guidance - Quick Facts

EPR Properties (EPR) increased its 2018 guidance for FFO as adjusted per diluted share to a range of $5.97 to $6.07 from a range of $5.75 to $5.90. The company narrowed its 2018 investment spending guidance to a range of $450.0 million to $650.0 million from a range of $400.0 million to $700.0 million and increased 2018 disposition proceeds guidance to a range of $450.0 million to $500.0 million from a range of $350.0 million to $450.0 million.

FFO as adjusted for the second quarter of 2018 was $141.8 million, or $1.87 per diluted common share, compared to $94.9 million, or $1.29 per diluted common share, for the same quarter in 2017, representing a 45% increase in per share results. Total revenue was $202.9 million for the second quarter of 2018, including a $45.9 million prepayment fee received from Och-Ziff Real Estate, and represents a 37% increase from $147.8 million for the same quarter in 2017.
