Ronnie Dunn is set to be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on October 28.

This year's other inductees include K.T. Oslin, Byron Hill, Wayne Kirkpatrick and Joe Melson.

The 2018 list of songwriter inductees was announced at a press conference Tuesday in their presence in Columbia Studio A.

They will join the 208-member Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Responding to the news, the member of country duo Brooks & Dunn said, "I look around this room, and I kind of have to bow my head in humility with the talent pool that's here."

The induction ceremony will take place during the Hall of Fame annual gala at Music City Center, with tributes and performances by Hall of Fame members and special guests.

Its proceeds will go to the Nashville Songwriters Foundation.
