Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have scored the new Jonah Hill directoral debut Mid90s.

The film is set for release in October, and tells the story of Stevie (Sunny Suljic) a 13-year-old boy in 1990s LA who forms a deep friendship with a group of skaters as he attempts to escape his tumultuous home life and an abusive older brother. It also features an ensemble cast that includes Lucas Hedges, Gio Galicia, Na-kel Smith, Alexa Demie, Ryder McLaughlin, Katherine Waterston and Olan Prenatt.

Mid90s is Reznor and Ross's first soundtrack for a narrative film since 2016's Patriots Day and follows their recent work for Showtime's New York Times documentary. The duo won an Academy Award for their work on 2010's The Social Network.
