Margo Price Drops 'Leftovers'

Margo Price has released a new original song "Leftovers" via Amazon Music.

The track was produced by Matt Ross-Spang for Amazon Music's newly established "Produced By" series.

"I wrote 'Leftovers' based on the kinds of people that don't have any original ideas of their own," Price said in a statement. "It could be anything from stealing a song idea, to copying someone else's style, or dating an ex of a good friend…..I also really just wanted to rhyme 'asshole' with 'casserole' and this seemed like the perfect opportunity."

"Matt Ross-Spang is a legendary producer and engineer in the making, who puts his blood, sweat and tears into making some of the best sounding records of our decade. We always have a lot of fun in the studio."

Ross-Spang was also behind Price's 2016 debut Midwest Farmer's Daughter and 2017 album All American Made-- the two hit albums that played a pivotal role in Price's meteoric rise to stardom.

Price recorded "Leftovers" at RCA Studio along with her band mates, drummer Dillon Napier, bassist Kevin Black, guitarist Jamie Davis, slide guitarist Luke Schneider, and her husband Jeremy Ivey.
