Antares Pharma Announces FDA Approval Of XYOSTED For Testosterone Replacement

Antares Pharma, Inc. (ATRS) announced the approval of XYOSTED injection by the U.S. FDA. XYOSTED is the first FDA approved subcutaneous testosterone enanthate product for once-weekly, at-home self-administration with an easy-to-use, single dose, disposable QuickShot auto injector. XYOSTED is indicated for testosterone replacement therapy in adult males for conditions associated with a deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone.

Pfizer said Friday it reached a multi-year deal with Gilead Sciences to manufacture and supply Gilead's investigational antiviral remdesivir for COVID-19 patients.
