Baker Hughes Reports Sept. Rig Counts - Quick Facts

Baker Hughes, a GE company (BHGE), announced that the Baker Hughes international rig count for September 2018 was 1,004, up 73 from the 931 counted in September 2017. The international offshore rig count was 204, up 14 from the 190 counted, prior year.

The average U.S. rig count for September 2018 was 1,053, up 113 from the 940 counted in September 2017. The average Canadian rig count for September 2018 was 201, down 9 from the 210 counted, last year. The worldwide rig count was 2,258, up 177 from the 2,081 counted, previous year.
