Vietnam Manufacturing PMI Climbs To 53.9 In October - Nikkei

The manufacturing sector in Vietnam continued to expand in October, and at a faster rate, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed on Thursday with a manufacturing PMI score of 53.9.

That's up from 51.5 in September, and it moves farther above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.

Individually, there was a marked acceleration in factory orders, while output growth rose to a three-month high.

Jobs also expanded at an above-average rate.
