Pitney-Bowes Q3 adjusted earnings Beat Estimates

Pitney-Bowes (PBI) released earnings for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company's earnings totaled $76.95 million, or $0.41 per share. This compares with $57.36 million, or $0.31 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Excluding items, Pitney-Bowes reported adjusted earnings of $50.37 million or $0.27 per share for the period.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.26 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 13.6% to $832.86 million from $733.27 million last year.
