Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry says he's "Doing Well" after he collapsed at a Billy Joel concert over the weekend.

"Doing well, thanks for all the love and support!" the Aerosmith member tweeted Tuesday, November 13.

Perry reportedly collapsed backstage after performing the band's hit "Walk This Way" with Billy Joel during a special appearance at the concert in New York on Saturday. The 68-year-old was "alert and responsive" after going to the hospital, however, the cause for the collapse is still uncertain.

"Following a guest performance during Billy Joel's show last night at Madison Square Garden, Joe Perry experienced shortness of breath and was treated backstage by paramedics who gave the guitarist oxygen and used a tracheal tube to clear his airway before taking him to a hospital," Perry's representative wrote in a statement.
