Campbell Soup Co. (CPB) Is Rising On Better Than Expected Q1 Earnings

Campbell Soup Co. (CPB) reported first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.79 Tuesday morning, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.70. The company's revenue for the quarter rose 24.5% to $2.69 billion from $2.16 billion last year.

The company expects to report full year EPS of $2.40 to $2.50. Analysts expect EPS of $2.42.

Campbell Soup gapped open higher this morning and is now up 2.55 at $41.00 in early trade. The stock has climbed to a 2-month high.
