J. M. Smucker Co. (SJM) Is Losing Ground After Weak Q3 Report

J. M. Smucker Co. (SJM) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $2.17 Wednesday morning, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $2.34.

The company now expects to report full year adjusted EPS of $8.00 to $8.20, down from prior expectations of $8.40 to $8.65. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $8.41.

J. M. Smucker gapped open sharply lower this morning and is now down 4.78 at $104.40. The stock has fallen to a 1-month low.
