Deutsche Wohnen Board To Extend CEO And CFO Ongoing Appointments For 5 Yrs

Deutsche Wohnen SE (DWHHF.PK) announced that its supervisory board unanimously resolved to extend the ongoing appointment of Michael Zahn as Chief Executive Officer for five years until 31 December 2023.

The supervisory board also extend the appointment of Philip Grosse as Chief Financial Officer for further five years until 31 August 2024.

Zahn has been a member of the management board since 01 September 2007 and Grosse has been a member of the management board since 01 September 2016.

Indonesia is exploring a total ban on the use of electronic cigarettes and vape products in the country due to healthcare concerns following the lung illness outbreak related to vaping in the U.S., according to reports. However, the South-East Asian country has not reported any cases of vaping-related illness. Chain-smoking Indonesia is the world's second largest tobacco market. Monsanto on Thursday pleaded guilty to illegally using a banned pesticide known as Penncap-M on research crops at one of its facilities on the Hawaiian island of Maui. The agro-chemicals company will pay $10 million for charges that it unlawfully stored the banned pesticide, which had to be managed as an acute hazardous waste. The banned pesticide is specifically methyl parathion. Anti-aging skin care products, beauty serum ingredients and essential oils provider Resurrectionbeauty issued a recall for about 270 units of wintergreen essential oil due to risk of poisoning for young children if they swallow it. However, the company has not received reports of any incidents or injuries so far. The product contains the substance methyl salicylate.
