South Korea Industrial Production Sinks 1.7% In November

Industrial production in South Korea was down a seasonally adjusted 1.7 percent on month in November, Statistics Korea said on Friday.

That followed the 1,3 percent increase in October.

On a yearly basis, industrial production was up 0.1 percent - slowing from 10.9 percent in the previous month.

The index of all industry production fell 0.7 percent on month and was up 0.2 percent on year in November.

The manufacturing production index fell 1.9 percent on month and added 0.1 percent on year, while the manufacturing shipment index sank 2.5 percent on month and 2.3 percent on year.
