Lou Gramm has announced that there will be no more tours from him as a solo artist.

The original lead singer of the British-American rock band Foreigner announced his decision to retire after his concert in Schenectady, New York, ended on Saturday night.

"Just talking with my wife and some people in the business… You get real excited when you start out in this business, but you've gotta be smart enough to know when to walk away from it too. And I just feel it's that time for me," he told fans.

The 68-year-old singer, whose non-cancerous tumor was removed, has been planning to retire.

Gramm played several Foreigner tracks including "Feels Like the First Time," "Cold as Ice," and "I Want To Know What Love Is," during his 14-song performance.
