National Grid Reaches Deal With Two Massachusetts Gas Unions

National Grid plc (NG.L,NGG) announced Tuesday that a satisfactory agreement has been reached in its contract negotiations with two Massachusetts Gas unions over employment terms and conditions. The agreement is for a five-and-a-half-year contract for 1,250 employees in the company's Massachusetts Gas business.

During the negotiation, National Grid implemented a Work Contingency Plan to ensure that customers continued to receive a safe and reliable service.

The company said it looks forward to welcoming back employees on January 21.

American Airlines Group has extended its offer to waive change fees for customers who purchase travel tickets through April 30, in response to lower travel demand due to the coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic. The offer is available for any of American Airlines' published non-refundable fares. The airline had earlier waived change fees for customers who purchased tickets through April 15. Taco Bell is owned by Yum! Brands Inc. The Mexican-inspired restaurant chain usually offers free taco giveaways during major sporting events such as the NBA Finals or World Series.
