Logistics giant UPS' investment arm Strategic Enterprise fund made an equity investment in blockchain-for-business company Inxeption Corp.

In a statement, Inxeption, an industrial-strength eCommerce platform built on Blockchain, said the investment will be used to create innovative new e-commerce solutions for B2B sellers and buyers.

The company noted that shipping solutions are a particularly important factor in B2B e-commerce, and both companies will work together to develop and bring to market new solutions in this area.

Inxeption was founded in 2017 by former Oracle employees Farzad Dibachi, Mark Moore and Terry Garnett. The company said it has designed the first blockchain-based e-commerce platform for B2B that catalogs and digitizes product information. The platform also features real-time analytics that helps customers monitor online sales, and receive real-time order status, and security notifications.

According to CEO Dibachi, the partnership represents the future of commerce. He noted that business customers need secure platforms to protect their customer data and proprietary information. These platforms also should make it easy for them to interact with customers.

Inxeption also plans to launch additional solutions to meet the needs of specific market segments.
