The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service has announced a recall of H & T Seafood Inc.'s Siluriformes fish products.
According to the agency, the products were not presented for import re-inspection upon entry into the United States. About 71,435 pounds of the products were recalled.
The Siluriformes products were imported from Vietnam to the U.S. on various dates from November 29, 2017 through October 14, 2018. The products have a shelf life of two years. The items were shipped to retail locations in California, Nevada and Texas.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.
