New Zealand Trade Data On Tao For Tuesday

New Zealand will on Tuesday release December numbers for imports, exports and trade balance, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

Imports are expected to be worth NZ$5.30 billion, down from NZ$5.80 billion in November. Exports are called at NZ$5.50 billion, up from NZ$4.94 billion in the previous month. The trade surplus is pegged at NZ$225 million following the NZ$861 million deficit in the previous month.

Australia will see December results for the indexes for business confidence and conditions from National Australia Bank; in November, their scores were +3 and +11, respectively.

Singapore will provide December figures for producer prices; in November, producer prices were up 5.0 percent on month and 5.1 percent on year.
