Five Artists Take Home Best Rap Performance Grammy

Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Future and James Blake tied with Anderson .Paak for Best Rap Performance at the 61st Grammy Awards.

While the quartet won the award for "King's Dead" from Black Panther: The Album, the latter earned the Grammy for "Bubblin."

Lamar earned his first career Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist and Album Of The Year for Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, in 2013. He won his first career Grammy for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for "I" in 2014.

Lamar made his Grammy stage debut alongside Imagine Dragons at the 56th Grammy, performing a mashup of his "M.A.A.D City" and their "Radioactive."

Anderson .Paak, meanwhile, earned his first two career Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album for Malibu in 2016. He made his Grammy stage debut at the 59th Grammy Awards.
