Bitcoin Off To A Good Start In New Week

Bitcoin got off to positive start in the new week, touching $3700 for the first time in a month.

The leading cryptocurrency by market capitalization rose by $163.86, or 4.60 percent, in a 24-hour session starting Sunday.

As of writing, BTC is changing hands at $3,752 on Conbase, back to the levels seen a month ago.

Bitcoin's 24-hour trading volume has jumped to more than $8 billion for the first time since December 20, according to CoinMarketCap data. BTC currently has a market capitalization of $65.9 billion.

The rally to one-month highs, backed by strong volumes and a rise in long positions, could be the indicator of a bearish-to-bullish trend change, and has opened the doors upside toward $4,000, crypto analysts say.

On Monday, the cryptocurrency markets have witnessed significant bullish action, with most of the top soft coins posting a 24-hour gain.

Etherum, Litecon, Bitcoin Cash and XRP are all in the green zone.
