Up-and-coming country star Kane Brown performed a record-breaking debut at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Saturday, March 9.

Brown played to an audience of nearly 75,000 fans, making it the No. 1 most attended debut concert by an artist and the 15th biggest audience in attendance in the history of the festival overall.

The singer was also presented with a plaque by event chairman, Jim Winne, to celebrate and honor his four-time platinum single, "Heaven," which was released in 2016.

Brown also recently received the honor of being included in the "American Currents: The Music Of 2018" exhibit by the Country Music Hall of Fame museum.

"I don't think that I've actually took it in yet. It's crazy to be in there," he said when asked about the experience. "Brothers Osborne's behind me, FGL is to the right of me. It's just awesome to be a part of something in Nashville."
