H.E.R., 21 Savage To Headline 2019 Roots Picnic

H.E.R. and 21 Savage will headline the annual Roots Picnic music festival.

The music festival is set to take place at the Mann Center at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, a new larger location than its previous home of Festival Pier, on June 1.

The Roots will mark the 20-year anniversary of their album, Things Fall Apart, with a special performance during the festival.

"We finally have a Roots Picnic in the Park," said Shawn Gee, Roots manager and president of Live Nation Urban.

Tickets go on sale on Friday.

The organizers said all Roots Picnic tickets are General Admission tickets. There are no assigned seats.

They also noted that Ticketmaster is the only official source for Roots Picnic tickets.
