Beyoncé Refuses To Provide Private Texts In Blue Ivy Lawsuit

Beyoncé has refused to hand over the private texts she had exchanged with Jay Z and her mother Tina Lawson to Veronica Morales.

According to Blast, Morales demanded certain documents, including the private texts by Beyoncé to her mother and Jay-Z, to check whether they were aware of the existence of the Blue Ivy trademark before naming their child.

After naming her child Blue Ivy, Beyoncé tried to trademark the name, but Morales filed a lawsuit to block the move as she had established a wedding company by the same name three years earlier.

Besides refusing to hand over any private documents, Beyoncé is also reportedly demanding a protective order to prohibit Morales from sharing any personal information.

Beyoncé had accused Morales of trying to sell the trademark to her for $10 million, which has been denied by the latter.

Morales' team contend that Jay-Z had stated that his family had no intention of using Blue Ivy's trademarked name but wanted to prevent others from profiting off of it.
