Tribe, a blockchain accelerator backed by Singapore government, announced its partnership with BMW Group Asia, Intel and Nielsen.

Tribe Accelerator said the three companies will share their knowledge and subject expertise in their respective fields with Tribe's startups. The companies will help build an inclusive ecosystem "ready for industry 4.0."

Tribe Accelerator is a government-supported blockchain acceleration program. It ensures networking opportunities for different startup companies by partnering with major blockchain companies.

As per the deal, BMW Group Asia, which oversees the East Asia region comprising 13 markets, will provide masterclasses and mentoring sessions on how blockchain solutions can be implemented in a mass market situation.

Intel will offer business and technical mentorship to startups. Intel's blockchain program director Michael Reed, said, "Intel technologies like Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Intel SGX can help improve privacy, security, and scalability of blockchain solutions."

Further, Nielsen has agreed to provide a sandbox with the objective of providing participants with a safe and conducive environment to test new technologies and accelerate the use of their own solutions.

Tribe last month had partnered with ethereum development studio ConsenSys to advance the blockchain ecosystem in Singapore.

It was in December last year that Accelerator was launched as part of the partnership between venture capital firm TRIVE Ventures, South Korea's ICON Foundation and PwC Singapore's Venture Hub.
