Diana Ross has come to the defense of Michael Jackson amid the sexual abuse allegations against the late King of Pop.

She also asked Jackson's critics to "Stop In The Name Of Love," referencing The Supremes' hit song from 1965.

Ross, the former frontwoman of the Supremes, had a close relationship with Jackson since he was a child.

"This is what's on my heart this morning. I believe and trust that Michael Jackson was and is A magnificent incredible force to me and to many others. STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE," Ross tweeted.

In a recent HBO documentary, Leaving Neverland, directed by Dan Reed, two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, alleged that they were sexually abused by Jackson when they were children.

Jackson's estate has denied the claims and filed a lawsuit against HBO over the documentary, seeking $100 million in damages.
