After more than a decade, Mötley Crüe has returned to the top 10 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart, as the band's new single, "The Dirt (Est. 1981)" reached No. 10 on the chart dated April 13.

The song, featuring Machine Gun Kelly on the soundtrack to the Netflix Mötley Crüe biopic The Dirt, was released last month.

It is the seventh time that a song from the rock band has appeared in the top 10 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart.

The last one was "Saints of Los Angeles," which hit No. 5 in 2008.

The first song from Mötley Crüe that hit the top 10 was "Smokin' in the Boys Room," which reached No. 7 in 1985.
