Bank Of Hawaii Boosts Qtly. Dividend 4.8% - Quick Facts

While reporting financial results for the first quarter, Bank of Hawaii Corp. (BOH) announced Monday that the company's Board of Directors declared a 4.8 percent higher quarterly cash dividend of $0.65 per share on the Company's outstanding shares, payable on June 14, 2019 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 31, 2019.

Amazon.com, Inc. can be held liable for damages caused by defective goods sold on its Marketplace including third parties, according to a ruling by a California appeals court. The California Fourth District Court of Appeals was pronouncing the ruling in a case where a defective replacement laptop battery caught fire and inflicted a woman with third-degree burns.
