Public Service Enterprise Reaffirms FY19 Operating Earnings Outlook

While reporting financial results for the first quarter on Thursday, Public Service Enterprise Group, Inc. (PEG) re-affirmed its full-year 2019 guidance for operating earnings.

For fiscal 2019, the company continues to project operating earnings in the range of $3.15 to $3.35 per share.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $3.26 per share for the year. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

But it took about $10 billion write down on the value of its Precision Castparts aircraft parts unit due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Operating profit declined 10 percent.
