Laura Helm's $20 million lawsuit claiming singer Usher knowingly exposed her to herpes has been dismissed after both parties reportedly reached an amicable settlement.

TMZ reported quoting court documents Helm filed to dismiss the suit earlier this week because she and Usher have "reached an amicable resolution." The settlement amount was not disclosed.

Helm is one of a number of women and one man suing the R&B artist accusing him of infecting them with the STD.

She initially sued Usher in 2017 for $10 million claiming he had exposed her to the virus when they had unprotected sex.

Helm later doubled the sum to $20 million, adding emotional harm and punitive damages when she was diagnosed with Herpes Simplex 2.
