Vampire Weekend's album Father of the Bride has debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart dated May 18.

It is the band's third album to hit the top of the charts.

Billie Eilish's When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was second for the week, followed by Khalid's Free Spirit.

Father of the Bride, released on May 3, earned 138,000 equivalent album units in the week ending May 9, Nielsen Music data shows. Out of it, 119,000 were in album sales.

So far, it's the biggest rock album of the year. No longer an "indie band," this was the Vamp's Columbia Records debut.

With this, Columbia earns the credit for releasing all three of the No. 1 rock albums of 2019.
