Tencent Q1 Profit Increases

Tencent Holdings Limited (TCEHY.PK) reported that its profit attributable to equity holders of the Company for the first quarter of 2019 was RMB 27.210 billion or $4.04 billion, an increase of 17% from last year. Earnings per share were RMB2.844.

Operating profit was RMB 36.74 billion or $5.46 billion an increase of 20% from the prior year.

Total revenues were RMB 85.47 billion or $12.69 billion, an increase of 16% over the first quarter of 2018.
