Macy's Reiterates FY19 Outlook - Quick Facts

While reporting its financial results for the first quarter on Wednesday, Macy's, Inc. (M) reiterated its financial outlook for fiscal 2019.

The company reaffirmed its forecast for fiscal 2019 earnings per share excluding settlement charges, impairment and other costs in a range of $3.05 to $3.25, and net sales to be approximately flat with the prior year.

Full-year comparable sales for both, owned plus licensed basis and owned basis are projected to be flat to up 1 percent.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $3.09 per share for the year on revenues of $25.02 billion. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
