Atlanta rapper Lil Nas X has signed with Creative Artists Agency, or CAA, the agency announced.
The country-rap sensation, who broke out with hit single "Old Town Road," is managed by Adam Leber, Gee Roberson and Zach Kardisch at Maverick with David Jacobs at Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks as his attorney. His label is Columbia.
His first ever live show was at Stagecoach Festival with Billy Ray Cyrus in Indio, California. He also has a few festival shows coming up this summer.
"Old Town Road" topped the Billboard pop chart for the fifth consecutive week. The song also broke record of highest number of streams in one week previously held by Drake's "In My Feelings".
Billboard created an uproar after it removed "Old Town Road" from its country music charts.
"While 'Old Town Road' incorporates references to country and cowboy imagery, it does not embrace enough elements of today's country music to chart in its current version," they said.
