Canadian crypto asset brokerage Voyager Digital has partnered French hardware wallet maker Ledger to integrate its Ledger Vault multi-authorization cryptocurrency wallet to provide custody solutions for Voyager's crypto trading ecosystem to more securely custody customers' assets.

Ledger Vault is an enterprise-grade crypto asset and storage solution, utilizing end-to-end hardware and software security. It safeguards private keys in isolation while still enabling transactions to occur with real-time integrity validations.

Ledger Vault's asset management system will help increase the security of the platform's crypto holdings. It will completely manage and control cryptocurrencies, allowing firms to securely store and instantly trade their digital assets.

Ethos Bedrock, Voyager's enterprise blockchain solution, will provide a bridge between the Ledger Vault and Voyager's trading platform. The three technologies will together make crypto trading possible from cold level security storage, without sacrificing the speed and liquidity for customers.

Ethos Bedrock will programmatically create unique addresses for Voyager customers when crypto wallet transfers are released to deposit cryptocurrency to their Voyager account.

The assets customers transfer to these addresses will be held in Voyager's secure crypto custody solution, powered by Ledger, and will be available to users of the Voyager app to trade as soon as the blockchain transaction is confirmed.

"Ledger Vault is fluid, providing Voyager cold level security with the ability to become hot in a matter of seconds all through one secure interface," said Demetrios Skalkotos, Global Head of Ledger Vault.

With Ledger's solution, Voyager and Ethos will provide a secure, liquid, end-to-end crypto asset management platform that works at scale for a global audience.

Voyager was founded by established Wall Street and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs who teamed to bring a better, more transparent and cost-efficient alternative for trading crypto-assets to the marketplace.

Voyager is registered with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), which is a bureau in the US Treasury's Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.
